Piloting requirements

The EPSILON DLS is a Basic-Intermediate certified EN/LTF B. EPSILON pilots will already have initial experience of flying in thermals and will have acquired a well-practised active flying style. They can recognise the onset of a collapse and resist this without overreaction. For pilots fulfilling these requirements, extended thermal flights with the EPSILON DLS will be pure piloting pleasure.

General safety advice

Flying a paraglider calls for appropriate training and a sound knowledge of the subject, as well as, of course, the necessary insurance cover and licence. A pilot must be able to correctly assess the weather conditions before taking off. His or her capabilities must be adequate for the actual paraglider. The paraglider pilot is also required bear a sense of responsibility towards the natural world, especially regarding the preservation of wildlife and landscape.

WarningWearing an appropriate helmet, suitable footwear, and clothing, as well as carrying a rescue parachute (reserve), is strongly recommended. Before every flight, all equipment must be checked for damage and airworthiness. Additionally, a complete pre-flight check must be performed.
